2022 Comfort Quilt Challenge

The color green signifies comfort, healing, and growth. After two years of a pandemic, we’ve selected the Sherwin-Williams 2022 color of the Year Evergreen Fog (SW9130) as our inspiration. Meadow Sage from the Sherwin-Williams collection at Lowe’s is the same color.

The due date for the Challenge Quilts is October 12, 2022.

Challenge Requirements:

• The comfort quilts should be for teen-aged to adult recipients.
• The quilt top must include ¼ yard of a fabric similar to a color on a paint chip #324A from the Lowe’s
• Sherwin-Williams collection. Use coordinating fabrics and pattern of your choice.
• To qualify for a “Viewer’s Choice” prize, your completed quilt must be at least 55 by 65 inches.
• Your Quilt must have a label that states: “Made with Love – Warren County Quilt Guild” (preprinted labels available on request).
• Before turning your quilt in, write your name on a card about 3 x 5, and pin the card face down to the back of your completed quilt.
• Challenge quilts will be collected, and prizes awarded at the October 12, 2022, guild meeting.
